Original description: This battle was originally written and recorded nearly a year ago and initially planned for its video release to coincide with April Fools’ 2019, hence the outro gag and overall bizarre premise. Needless to say, I got very, very sidetracked and remained in a funk, at least in terms of MERB, until very recently, and yes, I could have waited for this year’s iteration of the joke holiday to post this, but considering how long it had been since I uploaded a video for a new battle (remakes excluded), I was really in no position to be intentionally shelving finished content.

As of now I’m officially and fully back in long-term MERB video-production mode; the other battles written and recorded last year will be prioritized over the Sonic-Star Wars saga, which is effectively still on hiatus and, to be honest and realistic, might never be completed… although if any artists among those reading this could be willing to collaborate for it by creating some custom graphics for the characters with overly limited existing visual representation, that would very much improve its chances of being finished after all.
