Privacy, plainly.

Guest browsing and local preferences

Guest likes, saved video IDs, watch history, topic weights, settings, and temporary video metadata are kept in localStorage in your browser. History and topic weights stay local even when you sign in. Use Settings → Reset my data, or clear this website's browser storage, to remove local data. This does not delete a signed-in account.

Optional social sign-in

If you choose Google or Facebook, we receive the provider's account identifier, name, email address, verification status, and profile image when available. We use them to authenticate your account and display your profile. We request basic identity permissions, not access to your messages, contacts, posts, or other accounts. There is no email/password or email-link sign-in. Your provider's policies also apply: Google and Meta.

Synced likes and saved videos

When signed in, your liked and watch-later video IDs are stored with your account. Guest picks are imported when you explicitly choose to bring them into that account. Separate accounts do not share libraries. Account-specific caches and unsynced changes may also remain on the device until you clear its local data.

Cookies and security records

Sign-in uses essential, HttpOnly cookies for sessions and temporary OAuth state. Server-side session records include creation and expiry times, IP address, and browser information for authentication and security. Provider access credentials are encrypted before storage and are not returned to the browser. Expired authentication and rate-limit records are cleaned up by scheduled maintenance. We do not install advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Requests, hosting, and curation

Feed requests include up to 200 recently seen video IDs and your top five topic weights. We use these hints for that response, without storing a server-side viewing history. Shares increment an aggregate counter. Cloudflare hosts the service and may process connection information and sampled operational logs. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics, if configured, supplies aggregate usage measurements. See Cloudflare's policy.

Video titles and related curation text may be processed by our configured AI service to classify videos. Account profiles, personal libraries, and watch histories are not supplied to that classifier. Current automated curation uses Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not use account or platform data to train models.

Video previews and embedded players

Video players load automatically when you browse the feed or open a video page. Playback starts muted when your browser permits it. Thumbnail images and players connect your device directly to the original video services, which receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. They may set their own cookies or local storage, process device information, or associate playback with an account you have there. There is no separate player-permission setting on pranks.com.

We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain, which does not eliminate all requests to Google. Your browser's own privacy controls can restrict third-party storage. See the YouTube terms, Google Privacy Policy, and Twitch Privacy Notice. We refresh or remove cached platform metadata within 30 days and stop displaying unavailable content.

Export, deletion, and retention

Open your account menu to download your profile, connected provider identifiers, and synced library. Delete account removes your active profile, provider records, sessions, and synced lists. A recent sign-in is required. Minimal encrypted credentials can remain in a revocation queue solely to retry disconnecting the deleted account from its provider. They are not used after seven days and are removed at the next scheduled cleanup. Recoverable infrastructure backups follow Cloudflare's retention controls and are not used to serve deleted accounts during normal operation.

We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your account. Rights and legal retention duties depend on the law that applies to you.

Future integrations

This version does not share account data with connected ChatGPT, Claude, or editor apps. Any future connection will require a separate, explicit permission flow and updated disclosures describing what data and actions it can access.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13, or below a higher applicable age without required parental consent. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information.
